Situated in the quiet village of Hardecourt aux Bois at the point where the British and French Armies launched into The Battle of the Somme and fought side by side.

The Cottages are ideally situated for exploring the heart of the Somme battlefields.

The Farm is within walking distance of some of the most infamous battlefield sites, including Guillemont, Maltz Horn Farm, Trones and Bernafay Woods to name but a few. Delville Wood is four minutes and Thiepval, The Ulster Tower and Albert are just fifteen minutes by car.

The Farm has three separate cottages available to rent on a self catering basis, catering options are available (Breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals).

Each property has UK Sky TV with 200+ free view channels and the farm has free WIFI Internet.

Chavasse House, the old farm house has four large bedrooms and can sleep up to twelve guests. The old farm stables have been renovated and converted into Coury House and Dupres House both have two bedrooms and can each sleep up to four guests. Each cottages has its own patio area with barbecue.

You can spend the evening on the raised terrace with BBQ overlooking the countryside or next to the terrace in one of the farms old outhouses. It has been converted into a small bar 'The Rum Ration', with an open wood fire and sand-bag bar, decorated with hundreds of pieces of Great War memorabilia.

In the village of Longueval three miles north of Chavasse Farm is Snowden House. The property is ideally located in the heart of the Somme Battlefields, one minute from Delville Wood. See Snowden House page for more details.
